**Pathanamthitta, Kerala –** A 25-year-old man, V.S. Arun, was arrested on Sunday, January 20th, in connection with the ongoing investigation into the abuse of a Dalit minor girl in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to 57. Police officials confirmed the arrest, stating that formal charges will be filed following interrogation. Two suspects remain at large, believed to be abroad. One of the accused, Sudhi Sreeni (24), is already incarcerated on unrelated POCSO charges. The investigation is being led by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under Deputy Inspector General S. Ajitha Beegum.
