NEW DELHI—The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) announced the results for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2024 session on [Date of Release]. Only 29.62% of the 45,550 registered candidates passed the exam, a slight increase from previous sessions but still significantly low. 13,149 candidates passed, while 31,236 failed.

Candidates can access their results and download their scorecards from the NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) starting January 27th, 2025. The scorecard will show the candidate’s application ID, roll number, marks, and pass/fail status. A PDF containing all results is currently available. One question on the exam was deemed technically inaccurate and all candidates received full credit for it.

The results of seven candidates have been withheld pending further investigation by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee. Candidates who passed the exam will need to collect their certificates in person, following a separate announcement detailing the process. It is important to note that the FMGE scorecard cannot be used to register with a State Medical Council. Any instances of ineligibility or malpractice discovered will result in cancellation of candidature.
