Mon Jan 20 14:13:57 UTC 2025: ## FMGE December 2024 Results Released: One Question Invalidated, Scorecards Available January 27th

**NEW DELHI, January 26, 2025** – The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the results for the December 2024 Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), held on January 12, 2025. Following a review by subject matter experts, one question was deemed technically incorrect, resulting in all candidates receiving full marks for that question.

Individual scorecards will be available for download from January 27th, 2025, from the NBEMS website. However, NBEMS cautions that these scorecards cannot yet be used for state medical council registration, and results may be invalidated for candidates found ineligible at a later stage. The results of seven candidates have been withheld pending review by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee due to various reasons, including unfair means cases and security clearances.

The FMGE consisted of 300 multiple-choice questions, administered in two 150-minute sessions with timed sections. There was no negative marking, and a minimum score of 150 was required to pass.
