**Supa, India** – An elderly man was bludgeoned to death by his nephews in Supa village, Bakhira area, on Sunday morning, police reported. Ram Sumer Gautam, 65, suffered fatal head injuries inflicted with bricks during an altercation with his nephews, Baliram and Shakti.
According to police, Gautam, who had no children, lived with his nephews and had been feuding with them for a week, refusing to eat food they prepared. The dispute escalated when the nephews demanded he leave the house, a request Gautam rejected. The ensuing fight resulted in Gautam being attacked with bricks and nails.
He was rushed to a hospital but pronounced dead on arrival. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Baliram and Shakti have been arrested and charged with murder. A case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
