**Mumbai, January 20, 2025** – Yogesh Mahajan, a well-known television actor best known for his role as Shukracharya in the popular show “Shiv Shakti: Tap Tyag Tandav,” passed away unexpectedly on January 19th due to a cardiac arrest.
According to reports, Mahajan was found unconscious in his apartment near the show’s set. Crew members, concerned by his absence from filming, discovered him after forcing entry. He was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Doctors confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack.
The news has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry. Co-star Akanksha Rawat expressed her grief, stating that she found it difficult to believe the news after working alongside him for over a year.
Mahajan’s final rites were performed at Gorari-2 cremation ground in Borivali West, Mumbai. Beyond his television work, he also starred in several Marathi films, including “Mumbai Cha Shahane” and “Samsarachi Maya.”
