**Mumbai, India** – Veteran television actor Yogesh Mahajan passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, leaving behind a grieving family and colleagues. The actor, known for his roles in popular shows like “Adalat,” “Jai Shri Krishna,” and “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev,” was found unconscious at his residence in Umargaon after failing to appear on the set of his current show, “Shiv Shakti Tap Tyag Tandav.”
According to reports, co-stars and crew members, concerned by his absence, went to his flat and, upon receiving no response, forced entry. They found Mahajan unresponsive and rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Initial reports suggest a heart attack as the cause of death.
His co-star Akanksha Rawat, in a statement to India Today, described Mahajan as a “very jovial person with a great sense of humor,” expressing the shock and grief felt by the entire cast and crew after over a year of working together.
