**New Delhi, [Date]** – The India Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed a significant surge in electric vehicle (EV) launches, showcasing India’s commitment to sustainable transportation. Major automakers unveiled a range of new EVs, setting the stage for a potential EV revolution in the country.

Tata Motors showcased 18 new models across various segments, including the highly anticipated new Sierra and Harrier EVs. Hyundai Motor India launched the electric version of its popular Creta SUV, the Creta EV, priced at ₹17.99 lakh, and announced plans to install 600 fast-charging stations across India in the coming years.

Maruti Suzuki entered the EV market with its first electric SUV, the E-Vitara, promising a competitive price reveal in the coming months. The E-Vitara, built in India, is slated for export to over 100 countries. Kia India unveiled a facelifted version of its EV6, boasting improved features and range.

Luxury brands also joined the EV wave. Mercedes-Benz launched its EQS Maybach electric SUV at ₹2.63 crore, while BMW showcased its first India-made electric SUV, the X1, priced at ₹49 lakh. JSW MG Motor displayed its Cyberster and M9 limousine, emphasizing power, speed, luxury, and comfort. Škoda showcased its Enyaq iV electric car and the Vision 7S concept.

The two-wheeler segment also saw significant activity. Suzuki launched its first electric scooter, the E-Access, while Honda revealed the prices of its Activa Electric (₹1.17 lakh) and the Qc1 (₹90,000). Greaves Cotton showcased concept models of its electric motorcycles, Zyber and Express.

The Auto Expo 2025 clearly demonstrated the growing momentum of the EV market in India, with a wide range of options now available across different price points and segments.
