Sun Jan 19 08:14:45 UTC 2025: ## Greater Noida Auto Expo 2025 Opens, But Lacks Passenger Vehicles, Disappointing Visitors
**Greater Noida, January 19, 2025** – The India Mobility Global Expo 2025 (Auto Expo) opened today in Greater Noida, but with a significant difference. Unlike previous years, this iteration at the India Expo Centre & Mart (January 19-22) focuses exclusively on heavy and electric vehicles. The absence of passenger cars and two-wheelers, including anticipated future models, has led to widespread disappointment among visitors.
While over 34 automobile companies, including battery and tire manufacturers, are showcasing their latest technologies, the lack of passenger vehicles is a major drawback. Companies like JCB, Sany, and John Deere are exhibiting heavy machinery, but those hoping to see futuristic cars and bikes will be left wanting. Attendees seeking those vehicles will have to visit the concurrent Auto Expos in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan (opened January 17th) and Yeshwantpur (opened January 18th).
Despite free entry – a change from previous ticketed events – the organizers anticipate lower attendance in Greater Noida due to the limited vehicle selection. The three-venue expo aims to attract over 500,000 visitors from India and abroad. The Greater Noida event will run until January 22nd.
