**Vadodara:** Karnataka posted a mammoth 348/6 in the Vijay Hazare Trophy final against Vidarbha at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara today. Smriti Ravichandran led the charge with a stunning century (101 runs off 92 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes), while Abhinav Manohar (79) and Krishnann Srijeet (78) also contributed significantly. Karnataka captain Mayank Agarwal added 31 runs. Vidarbha, who won the toss and opted to field, now face a daunting 349-run chase.

Vidarbha’s hopes rest heavily on their captain, Karun Nair, who is in exceptional form, having scored 752 runs in the tournament so far – a record for a captain in Vijay Hazare Trophy history. He needs 79 more runs to break the overall tournament record. However, Vidarbha lost their first wicket early, with Yash Rathod falling for 22.
