**Patna, Bihar, January 18, 2025** – Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly, has been appointed the new president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), succeeding his father, Lalu Prasad. The decision was announced at the party’s national executive committee meeting held in Patna today.
