Sat Jan 18 10:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Pakistan Dominates West Indies in First Test Match

**KINGSTON, JAMAICA** – Pakistan routed West Indies in the first Test match of their two-match series, securing a commanding victory thanks to a stunning bowling performance. West Indies, after being dismissed for 137 in their first innings, were no match for the Pakistani spin attack.

Pakistan’s innings began poorly, with their top four batsmen dismissed for a combined score of only 46 runs. However, a 141-run partnership between Mohammad Rizwan (71 runs) and Saud Shakeel (84 runs) steadied the ship, allowing Pakistan to reach a respectable 230 runs. Jaden Seales and Warrican took three wickets each for the West Indies.

The West Indies’ batting collapse was the story of the match. Spinners Noman Ali (5/39) and Sajid Khan (4/65) wreaked havoc, dismantling the West Indies batting line-up. Six of West Indies’ top seven batsmen failed to reach double figures. Captain Kraigg Brathwaite managed only 11 runs, while Kevin Sinclair also scored 11. Only late-order contributions from Alick Athanaze (31*) and Jaden Seales (22) prevented an even more embarrassing total.

The victory marks a strong start for Pakistan in the series. The second Test match is eagerly anticipated.
