**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the January session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, India’s largest engineering entrance exam. The exam is scheduled to begin on January 22nd and will continue until January 30th.
According to career counseling expert Amit Ahuja, the computer-based exam will be conducted in 11 shifts across 331 cities in India and abroad. The BE/B.Tech exams will be held across 10 shifts from January 22nd to 29th, with the B.Arch exam scheduled for a single shift on January 30th.
Admit cards for the January 22nd, 23rd, and 24th exams have been released. The NTA will release admit cards for the subsequent exams (January 28th and 29th) two days prior to the respective exam dates. The admit card for the B.Arch exam on January 30th will be released accordingly.
The NTA also clarified in a notification that candidates must bring a completed self-declaration form with a left thumb impression and photograph. This form must be signed in the presence of the invigilator at the exam center. Candidates are required to bring original ID proof, the filled self-declaration form, a transparent pen, a personal photograph, and a transparent water bottle. Photocopies or mobile phone pictures of ID proof will not be accepted.
Electronic gadgets, shoes with thick soles, and clothing with large buttons are prohibited. Rough sheets will be provided and must be returned at the end of the exam. Candidates with physical disabilities will receive an extra hour and will be provided with a scribe by the NTA. Candidates who did not use their Aadhaar number during application must bring the completed undertaking mentioned on the admit card.
