Sat Jan 18 12:37:55 UTC 2025: ## JEE Main 2025 Admit Cards to Release Soon

**New Delhi:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit cards for the JEE Main Session 1 examination shortly. While the exam city intimation slips have already been issued, the admit cards, according to the information bulletin, will be released three days prior to the exam dates. Candidates can anticipate their release within the next day or two.

The exams for Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) are scheduled for January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, in two shifts: 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will be held on January 30 from 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, using their application number and date of birth.

NTA has emphasized security measures, stating that entry gates will close 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. For the morning shift, entry will be allowed from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and for the afternoon shift, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.

The top 250,000 candidates based on the best NTA score from both sessions will be eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced exam, the gateway to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Eligibility for JEE Advanced also requires a minimum of 75% marks in the 12th standard or being among the top 20 percentile of the respective board exam.

JEE Main comprises three papers; the new pattern for Paper 1 reduces the number of numerical questions in Section B from 10 to 5, with all questions being mandatory. Paper 1 is for undergraduate engineering programs in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, while Paper 2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning courses.
