**Mumbai, India –** Actor Aman Jaiswal, 24, known for his role in the television show *Dhartiputra Nandini*, died Friday evening in a motorcycle accident in Mumbai. Jaiswal was struck by a truck while on his way to an audition on Jogeshwari Road.
Co-star and close friend Hritik Yadav revealed the devastating news, stating he learned of the accident when the casting director for Jaiswal’s audition contacted him after Jaiswal failed to arrive. Yadav rushed to Cama Hospital in Jogeshwari, where Jaiswal was pronounced dead in the trauma ward.
Police have taken the truck driver into custody, and an investigation into charges of rash and negligent driving is underway.
Jaiswal, originally from Balia, Uttar Pradesh, shared a close bond with Yadav, both on and off the set of *Dhartiputra Nandini*.
