Sat Jan 18 07:39:28 UTC 2025: ## Poster War Erupts in Patna Ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s Visit

**PATNA, Bihar** – A fierce poster war has engulfed Patna ahead of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit this Saturday. The Congress party has plastered the city with posters welcoming Gandhi to the “Constitution Security Conference” and a worker’s dialogue, framing the visit as a show of solidarity. However, the BJP has retaliated with a series of sarcastic posters targeting Gandhi’s past statements.

The BJP’s campaign features quotes attributed to Gandhi, including one allegedly claiming his great-grandfather, Jawaharlal Nehru, played a role in defeating B.R. Ambedkar in an election. Other posters highlight controversial remarks allegedly made by Gandhi, prompting the BJP to claim they are simply “reminding the Hindu brothers of Bihar” about his words.

BJP leader Shailesh Mahajan launched a scathing attack on Gandhi, accusing him of disrespecting the Constitution and Ambedkar, and questioning his qualifications for prime minister. Mahajan stated Gandhi’s only qualification was his lineage.

The Municipal Corporation added fuel to the fire by removing numerous Congress posters during a citywide cleanup on Thursday, only to have them replaced by Friday. The escalating visual battle continues with both parties deploying fresh posters.
