**New Delhi, India** – The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 opened with a bang, showcasing a record-breaking 34 new vehicle launches and unveils on its first media day at Bharat Mandapam. Major players across the automotive spectrum unveiled a diverse range of vehicles, highlighting a strong push towards electric mobility and sustainable fuel options.

Maruti Suzuki made headlines with the launch of its first electric SUV, the e-VITARA, boasting Level 2 ADAS and next-gen connectivity. Suzuki Motorcycle India also entered the electric scooter market with the e-ACCESS, alongside the new Access 125 and the GIXXER SF 250 Flex Fuel – India’s first E85-compliant bike.

Hero MotoCorp expanded its portfolio significantly, entering the 250cc motorcycle segment with the Xtreme 250R and adding the Xpulse 210 to its adventure lineup. New scooters, the Xoom 125 and Xoom 160, joined their first flex-fuel motorcycle, the Hero HF Deluxe, and the VIDA V2 e-scooter.

Luxury brands also made their mark. BMW India unveiled its first locally produced EV, the BMW X1 Long Wheelbase All Electric, priced at ₹49 lakh. Mercedes-Benz launched the EQS Maybach SUV 680 ‘Night Series’ at INR 2.63 Cr and the Maybach GLS 600 at INR 3.71 Cr.

Hyundai Motor India launched the highly anticipated Hyundai CRETA Electric, starting at ₹17.99 lakh, while MG Motors expanded its NEV portfolio with the Cyberster and M9 under its new MG Select luxury brand. Tata Motors unveiled the All-New Tata Sierra, a modern take on a classic.

The commercial vehicle segment saw VE Commercial Vehicles enter the 2-3.5T SCV market with its electric-first Eicher Pro X Range. Kia India showcased the new Kia EV6 with its advanced ADAS 2.0 package. Greaves Cotton Limited introduced premium Ampere Nexus variants and the Xyber e-motorcycle. Porsche India unveiled the all-new Macan BEV SUV and the updated Taycan, while Škoda Auto India displayed eight ICE and EV models.

The expo clearly demonstrates a significant shift towards electric and sustainable vehicles in the Indian automotive market, with a strong commitment from both domestic and international manufacturers.
