**New Delhi, [Date]** – Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer Vinfast generated significant buzz at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) 2025, primarily due to its VF3 mini-SUV. If launched in India, the VF3 would become the country’s smallest SUV. The compact electric vehicle boasts impressive features despite its diminutive size.

Measuring just 3190 mm in length with a 2075 mm wheelbase, the VF3 packs a 43.5 horsepower electric motor and 110Nm of torque. Powering the vehicle is an 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery offering a range of approximately 210 kilometers on a single charge. Its 190 mm ground clearance is well-suited for Indian road conditions.

While the interior is minimalist, featuring a large touchscreen for controlling most functions, it offers ample storage space. Although boot space is limited, the spacious rear seats ensure comfortable passenger travel.

Vinfast plans to initially introduce its larger, premium vehicles to India via the Completely Built Unit (CBU) route. However, once its Tamil Nadu factory commences operations, the company is expected to begin local manufacturing, potentially making the affordable VF3 readily available to Indian consumers. The VF3’s attractive design and electric powertrain position it as a strong contender in the Indian market.
