**New Delhi, India** – Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast made a splash at the Auto Expo 2025, showcasing its lineup of electric vehicles, including the global debut of its smallest EV, the VF 3. Already popular in Vietnam, the VF 3 compact electric SUV is expected to be a strong contender in the Indian market. The company also displayed the VF 6 and VF 7 electric vehicles.
The VF 3 boasts a futuristic design, front-wheel drive, and a reported driving range of 399 kilometers on a single charge. Featuring a black dashboard and seating for four, it’s expected to launch by the end of 2025 with a starting price of approximately ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom), potentially rivaling the Tata Punch.
VinFast also showcased the VF Wild pickup truck concept, hinting at a wider range of models to be launched in the coming months. The VF 6 and VF 7 are reported to come in two variants with 75.3kWh batteries and premium features such as a 15-inch infotainment system, heads-up display, 360-degree camera, and ADAS features. These models are expected to start at around ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom). Safety features across the range include multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot detection, and advanced driver assistance systems.
While VinFast has yet to announce official launch dates for these models in India, the Auto Expo presentation signals a significant push into the Indian EV market.
