**KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (January 14, 2025)** – Malaysia’s palm oil industry is bracing for the impact of the European Union’s upcoming anti-deforestation law, which is set to take effect in December 2025. Deputy Commodities Minister Chan Foong Hin urged industry stakeholders to understand and adapt to the law’s requirements to ensure continued market access within the EU.
