**Rajkot, India –** Pratika Rawal smashed her first international century in a stunning display during India’s record-breaking 435/5 victory against Ireland in the third ODI on Wednesday. The 24-year-old right-handed batter reached the milestone in just 100 balls, ultimately finishing with an impressive 154 runs off 129 deliveries, including 20 fours and a six.
Rawal’s performance was part of a dominant opening partnership with stand-in captain Smriti Mandhana, who also scored the fastest ODI century by an Indian woman in the same match. The pair amassed a remarkable 233 runs from only 160 balls.
This is Rawal’s sixth match for India, having debuted against the West Indies in December 2024. She had previously impressed with scores of 89 and 67 in the first two ODIs of the current series. India’s commanding win sets a new record for the highest ODI total ever posted by the women’s team.
