NEW YORK – Fox News Media announced a significant overhaul of its daytime and weekend programming, including the appointment of Will Cain to anchor a new weekday show at 4 p.m. Cain, currently a co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” will take over the timeslot previously held by Neil Cavuto, starting January 21st. His new show, “The Will Cain Show,” will adopt a podcast-style format, offering a comprehensive look at daily news.

The changes, announced by Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott, also include the expansion of several weekend programs. “The Fox Report” will move to 3 p.m. and expand to two hours, while “The Big Weekend Show” will also expand to a two-hour block starting at 6 p.m. Charlie Hurt, opinion editor of The Washington Times, will replace Cain on “Fox & Friends Weekend.”

Fox Business Network will see changes as well, with Dagen McDowell joining “The Big Money Show,” expanding to two hours daily. McDowell will continue her co-hosting duties on “The Bottom Line.”

Scott lauded Cain’s experience, stating that his insights will be a valuable addition to the network’s lineup. Cain’s background includes a daily radio show at ESPN, appearances on “First Take,” and roles at CNN, The Blaze, and as a media entrepreneur. He holds a law degree from the University of Texas and an undergraduate degree from Pepperdine University. The network anticipates these changes will revitalize their programming and better serve viewers.
