MALAPPURAM, Kerala, January 14, 2025 – G. Mohan Gopal, former director of the National Judicial Academy, delivered a powerful call for citizens to uphold the Constitution during a two-day seminar held at the Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal Memorial Arts and Science Women’s College in Kattilangadi, Malappuram. Addressing the seminar, titled “Democracy and minorities: rights, resistance, representation,” Prof. Gopal expressed concern over the current political climate, stating that a small section is unduly influencing the government.
