**Prayagraj, India** – Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is participating in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The 61-year-old philanthropist arrived in Prayagraj on Sunday, after visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi where she performed religious rituals. Videos show her at the Maha Kumbh, dressed in traditional orange attire, participating in the festivities. She is expected to take a holy dip at the Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Powell Jobs, recently given the Hindu name “Kamala” by the Niranjani Akhara, is attending the once-in-144-year event which is expected to attract 450 million devotees over its 45-day duration (until February 26th).
