**Hyderabad, January 14, 2025** – The bodies of a man and a woman were discovered near the Khajaguda hillock in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning, marking a gruesome double murder. The bodies, found approximately 60 meters apart near the Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple, showed signs of blunt force trauma to the face. Police suspect the woman was sexually assaulted before her death.
The discovery was made by young men visiting the hillock to watch the sunrise. According to Rajendranagar DCP Ch. Srinivas, the victims, believed to be in their 30s, were likely murdered sometime between the night of January 13th and the morning of January 14th. The police suspect the killings were an act of vengeance, though the motive remains unclear. As of Tuesday afternoon, the victims had not yet been identified.
The police, along with the Clues Team, have launched an investigation into the double homicide.
