PRAYAGRAJ, INDIA – January 13, 2025 – The Maha Kumbh Mela, the world’s largest religious gathering, commenced today in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and will continue until February 26th. The UP government has also invested in infrastructure improvements, tripling the bathing area capacity at the Sangam compared to 2019. A seven-layered security framework, coupled with high-tech lost and found centers, will further enhance safety and security measures.
