**Kochi, Kerala, January 14, 2025** – Kerala Blasters FC secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Odisha FC in a high-octane Indian Super League (ISL) match on Monday. Despite Odisha taking an early lead through Jerry Mawihmingthanga, Kerala rallied in the second half with goals from Kwame Peprah, Jesus Jimenez, and Noah Sadaoui to maintain their unbeaten home record against Odisha. Dorielton Gomes scored a second-half goal for Odisha, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the loss.
Interim head coach T.G. Purushothaman praised his team’s execution of their game plan, highlighting their strong second-half performance. He specifically lauded the performance of teenage winger Korou Singh, whose assist to Peprah proved crucial in the comeback. Singh’s assist was his fourth of the season, tying the record for most assists by an Indian player in a single Kerala Blasters season. All four of Singh’s assists have come at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. Purushothaman also celebrated the team’s overall performance and expressed optimism for the future. The win marks Kerala Blasters’ first back-to-back home wins since October-November 2023.
