**HYDERABAD, INDIA** – Ram Charan’s latest film, “Game Changer,” is on the verge of hitting the ₹100 crore mark at the Indian box office, despite a less-than-stellar performance in the Hindi market. The S. Shankar-directed political action drama, released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada, collected ₹97 crore domestically by its first Monday. While the film saw a dip on its fourth day, earning ₹8.5 crore, its overall Telugu occupancy remained strong at 20.58%.
However, the Hindi version’s performance has fallen short of expectations. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported a weekend total of ₹26.59 crore, describing it as “respectable” but below the anticipated numbers for a big-budget film. He noted that despite positive reviews, the film hasn’t reached its full potential in Hindi-speaking regions.
The film, which features Ram Charan in a dual role alongside Kiara Advani, has received mixed reviews. NDTV’s Saibal Chatterjee gave the film a 2 out of 5-star rating, criticizing its lack of logic and convoluted plot.
Despite the Hindi box office underperformance, “Game Changer,” produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations, continues its strong run in other languages, pushing it closer to the coveted ₹100 crore milestone. The film marks the first on-screen pairing of Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
