Tue Jan 14 09:33:12 UTC 2025: ## Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” Nears ₹100 Crore Mark Despite Hindi Box Office Underperformance
**Hyderabad, India –** Ram Charan’s latest film, “Game Changer,” is on the verge of crossing the ₹100 crore mark domestically, but its Hindi release has fallen short of expectations. The S Shankar-directed political action drama, released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada, earned ₹8.5 crore on its fourth day (Monday), bringing its total domestic collection to ₹97 crore. While Telugu occupancy remained strong at 20.58% on Monday, the Hindi version’s performance has been a cause for concern.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh reported disappointing weekend figures for the Hindi release, grossing ₹26.59 crore over the first three days. He noted that the film, despite positive reviews, didn’t achieve the box office jump expected of a big-budget release. The film stars Ram Charan in dual roles alongside Kiara Advani, with a supporting cast including Anjali, Nassar, SJ Suryah, and Brahmanandam.
Critics have offered mixed reviews. NDTV’s Saibal Chatterjee gave the film a 2 out of 5-star rating, criticizing its lack of logic and convoluted plot.
Despite the Hindi underperformance, “Game Changer” remains a strong contender at the box office, showcasing the star power of Ram Charan and the continued appeal of Telugu cinema across various markets. The film is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
