**LOS ANGELES, CA** – Former WWE Divas Champion Maryse has announced she is prioritizing her family over a potential return to professional wrestling. The 41-year-old mother of two, married to fellow WWE Superstar The Miz, revealed in an interview with PEOPLE magazine that the demands of motherhood make a wrestling comeback unlikely at this time.

“The kids are now priority and number one,” Maryse stated, adding that the travel and schedule required for wrestling are incompatible with her current family life. She expressed her love for the business but emphasized her commitment to being present for her daughters, Monroe Sky (6) and Madison Jade (5). This decision comes after Maryse’s successful battle with Ovarian Serous Borderline Tumors, which required a hysterectomy.

Maryse’s potential absence from the ring leaves a possible match against current WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green unfulfilled. Green, who recently hinted at an open challenge to former Divas Champions, may find her proposed matchup unfeasible.
