**Jammu, January 14, 2025** – Six Indian Army personnel were injured in a landmine explosion in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 10:45 am near Khamba Fort in the Nowshera sector while the troops were on patrol. One soldier accidentally triggered the landmine.

Officials reported that the injured soldiers were immediately evacuated to a hospital and are in stable condition. The landmine is believed to be part of an anti-infiltration obstacle system near the Line of Control (LoC). Authorities suggest that such accidents can occur when landmines are dislodged by heavy rains.
