**NEW DELHI, January 13, 2025** – Two people died and one was injured in a road accident in Noida in the early hours of Sunday, police reported. The incident occurred around 1:14 a.m. on the Noida link road near Mayur Vihar when a black SUV, traveling from Delhi towards Noida, hit a central verge, collided with another car, and then overturned onto a taxi.
The deceased have been identified as Suman Dhoopra, a taxi passenger, and Arjun Singh Solanki, the taxi driver. A passenger in the taxi was also injured. Aakash, the driver of the car that was hit by the SUV, filed a police complaint.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene and remains at large. Police have registered a case at Mayur Vihar Police Station and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing.
