**Tenali, Andhra Pradesh (January 13, 2025)** – Andhra Pradesh Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, Nadendla Manohar, joined Bhogi celebrations in Tenali on Sunday, extending festive greetings to the state’s citizens. Participating in the festivities alongside party leaders and members of the NDA coalition, Minister Manohar stressed the importance of preserving traditional cultural practices.

He highlighted the state government’s commitment to farmers, announcing the clearance of ₹1,674 crore in pending dues owed from the previous administration. This action, he stated, was taken within a month of the current government assuming power, following directives from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.

Furthermore, the Minister revealed that 28 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been procured, with payments disbursed to farmers’ accounts within 24 to 48 hours. He noted that an impressive 94% of farmers received their payments within just nine hours, thanks to the implementation of technology-driven procurement methods, including WhatsApp. Minister Manohar commended farmers for their perseverance despite past difficulties. He expressed hope for enhanced employment and livelihood opportunities in the region, emphasizing the need for swift development in Amaravati, the state capital.
