**Kannur, Kerala, January 12, 2025** – A two-day Global Job Fair in Kannur, organized by the Kannur Corporation and Brand Bay Media, concluded Sunday, resulting in over 4,000 job offers across 30 sectors. The event, held at the Mundayad Indoor Stadium, attracted 12,000 candidates and 75 companies from India and abroad.
Over 500 candidates received direct job offers, with approximately 2,000 more shortlisted for further interviews. Mayor Muslih Madathil highlighted the diverse range of sectors represented, including education, retail, hospitality, healthcare, technology, automobile, tourism, architecture, engineering, and construction. Many companies plan additional screening processes, promising further employment opportunities.
The fair also featured training sessions on career development and emerging trends, led by experts in artificial intelligence, talent management, and career skills. Rajya Sabha member P. Santhosh Kumar inaugurated the closing ceremony.
