**HYDERABAD, INDIA –** S Shankar’s “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, has made a spectacular debut at the global box office, raking in a massive ₹186 crore on its opening day. This surpasses the opening day collection of Ram Charan’s previous blockbuster, “RRR,” by over ₹50 crore.
The action-political thriller, which released in five languages (Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam), earned a strong ₹51.25 crore domestically on its first day. The film’s official X account announced the impressive worldwide figures, highlighting its “blockbuster opening.”
“Game Changer” follows the journey of an IAS officer (Ram Charan) fighting against corrupt politicians. The film also stars SJ Suryah, Jayaram, and Vennela Kishore and is backed by Sri Venkateswara Creations.
While the film’s opening is significant, it falls short of the record-breaking debut of “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” which garnered ₹294 crore globally on its opening day. Nevertheless, “Game Changer’s” strong initial numbers indicate a promising run at the box office.
