Sun Jan 12 07:58:56 UTC 2025: ## “Game Changer” Slows Down After Blockbuster Opening, Still Crosses ₹72.5 Crore in Two Days

**Hyderabad, India –** Ram Charan and Kiara Advani’s highly anticipated political drama, “Game Changer,” experienced a significant drop in box office earnings on its second day, despite a record-breaking opening. The Shankar-directed film, marking his Telugu cinema debut, raked in a massive ₹51 crore on its first day across all languages. However, day two saw collections fall to ₹21.5 crore, bringing the two-day total to ₹72.5 crore.

While the film’s Telugu audience contributed the most on day two (₹12.7 crore), Hindi audiences added ₹7 crore, Tamil ₹1.7 crore, and Kannada approximately ₹10 lakh. Despite the drop, occupancy rates remain relatively strong, with Telugu theatres reporting a 31.19% overall occupancy on January 11th, rising from 20.66% in the morning to 36.48% in the evening.

Critics have offered mixed reviews. While India Today Digital praised Ram Charan’s performance as the film’s “life and soul,” the overall script was deemed “mediocre.” The supporting cast, including S.J. Suryah, received more varied appraisals.

The film faces competition from “Daaku Maharaaj” and “Fateh” during the Sankranthi period. Its continued success hinges on maintaining audience interest and positive word-of-mouth. “Game Changer” continues its theatrical run.
