Sun Jan 12 07:09:49 UTC 2025: ## “Game Changer” Sees Steady Box Office Performance, Faces Stiff Competition

**CHENNAI, INDIA** – Shankar’s Telugu-language film “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and Anjali, has shown a steady box office performance in its second day, collecting ₹21.05 crore. The film’s total collection after two days stands at ₹72.5 crore, a strong showing compared to its first day earnings of ₹51 crore. While this surpasses the second-day collection of Shankar’s previous film, “Indian 2,” it faces increasing competition from other Sankranthi releases.

Despite positive reviews for Ram Charan’s performance, “Game Changer” received mixed critical reception, with some aspects of the film described as outdated. The film’s occupancy rates, while better than its Tamil and Hindi versions, were relatively moderate, ranging from 20.66% in the morning to 36.48% in the evening shows on its opening Saturday.

The film’s success is now threatened by upcoming releases, including “Daaku Maharaaj” (January 12) and “Sankranthiki Vasthunam” (January 14). Furthermore, the anticipated release of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” on January 17, with 20 minutes of added footage, adds to the competitive landscape. “Game Changer” features Ram Charan in a dual role and boasts a star-studded cast including Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah.
