Sat Jan 11 03:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Honda Elevate Gets Dark Makeover with New Black Editions

**MUMBAI, INDIA –** Honda has finally launched updated versions of its Elevate SUV, skipping the Auto Expo altogether. The updates are purely cosmetic, focusing on two new limited-edition models: the Black Edition and the Signature Black Edition. Both are based on the top-spec ZX variant and feature a new Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint job and black alloy wheels.

The Signature Black Edition boasts an even more extensive blacked-out treatment, replacing all silver accents with gloss black and adding a seven-color ambient lighting package to the interior. These changes aim to enhance the SUV’s sporty appeal.

Mechanically, the Elevate remains unchanged, retaining its 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine (120 bhp, 145 Nm), paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic gearbox. Standard features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, leatherette upholstery, six airbags, ABS with EBD, a digital instrument cluster, and a sunroof.

The Black Edition is priced from ₹18.15 lakh to ₹19.57 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), while the Signature Black Edition ranges from ₹18.38 lakh to ₹19.9 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). Both are available with manual and CVT transmission options. Key competitors include the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition and Kia Seltos X-Line.
