**Los Angeles, CA** – Hulu has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming comedy series, “Chad Powers,” starring Glen Powell. The series, inspired by an episode of ESPN+’s “Eli’s Places” featuring Eli Manning’s undercover experience at Penn State, follows Powell as Russ Holliday, a quarterback forced to reinvent himself after a career-derailing scandal. The teaser shows Holliday adopting a disguise and joining a struggling Southern college football team.
Powell, who also co-created and executive produced the series alongside Michael Waldron (“Loki”), described the role as one of the most challenging of his career. He hinted at the comedic nature of the character, stating that Holliday is “the worst dude on the planet who puts on the mask of the most genial southern guy you’ve ever seen.” The show, produced by Eli and Peyton Manning, is described as a “Ted Lasso-style” comedy.
