**MUMBAI** – Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film, *Game Changer*, has achieved a phenomenal box office debut, raking in an estimated ₹51.25 crore net across India on its opening day, according to Sacnilk.com. This marks a triumphant return for Charan, his first solo release since the global blockbuster *RRR*, after a five-year break.
The Telugu version spearheaded the impressive earnings, contributing ₹42 crore, while the Hindi version added ₹7 crore. Kannada and Malayalam versions contributed smaller amounts. The film, directed by Shankar, features a star-studded cast including Kiara Advani, S. J. Suryah, Nassar, and Brahmanandam.
Charan himself expressed his delight at collaborating with Shankar, calling it a “dream come true” and praising the director’s mastery of commercial cinema. The film’s success comes amidst the continued strong performance of Allu Arjun’s *Pushpa 2: The Rule*, which is now in its sixth week. Another film, Sonu Sood’s *Fateh*, saw a more modest opening day collection of around ₹2.45 crore.
Critical response has been largely positive. Industry analyst Taran Adarsh gave *Game Changer* 3.5 stars, praising its engaging nature despite a predictable plot, calling it “#RamCharan show.” Sumit Kadel lauded the film as a visual spectacle and one of the most ambitious political dramas in Indian cinema.
Early audience reactions are overwhelmingly positive, with many hailing *Game Changer* as a blockbuster and the perfect Sankranti gift, setting the stage for a potentially massive box office run.
