**Ayodhya, India** – A three-day festival is underway in Ayodhya to mark the first anniversary of the enthronement of Ram Lalla in the newly constructed Ram Mandir. The celebrations, starting January 11th, will feature cultural programs, devotional music, and religious ceremonies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the festivities on January 11th, performing a Mahaabhishek (grand consecration) of Ram Lalla. He addressed devotees from Angad Tila, a prominent location within the temple complex. Both Deputy Chief Ministers are also expected to attend. The Chief Minister is scheduled to remain in Ayodhya for approximately five hours.
The event, titled “Shri Ram Rag Seva,” includes a special devotional song dedicated to Ram Lalla, composed by Yatindra Mishra and sung by renowned artists like Anuradha Paudwal, Hariharan, Malini Awasthi, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sonu Nigam. The song was released on January 11th, coinciding with the auspicious Pratiṣṭhā Dwādashi.
The celebrations, organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, will include performances by prominent figures from the fields of music, art, and literature. Elaborate decorations adorn the temple, including the VIP entrance. The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation has also illuminated trees around the area.
Extensive security measures, including a large police presence and traffic diversions, are in place for the duration of the festival.
The three-day schedule includes:
* **Yagna Mandap (Temple Complex):** Agnihotra (fire rituals) and recitations of mantras.
* **Temple Ground Floor:** Rag Seva (devotional music) and celebratory songs.
* **Traveler’s Facility Center (First Floor):** Musical recitation of the Ramcharitmanas.
* **Angad Tila:** Ram Katha (storytelling), discourses on the Ramcharitmanas, cultural performances, and distribution of Prasad (holy offerings).
The festival culminates the commemoration of the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony, highlighting the immense devotion to Ram Lalla and the temple’s role as a spiritual center for millions of devotees.
