Sat Jan 11 14:02:47 UTC 2025: ## Ayodhya to Celebrate Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratishtha Anniversary on January 11th

**Ayodhya, India** – The first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of Ram Lalla at the newly constructed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be celebrated on January 11th, 2025, not January 22nd as previously expected. The change is due to variations in the Hindu calendar, with the auspicious Poush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi falling on January 11th this year.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced the revised date, clarifying that the ceremony will mark the completion of one year since the temple’s establishment. Elaborate preparations are underway, transforming Ayodhya into a festive hub, especially with the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be the chief guest for the celebrations. He will perform the Abhishek (ritual bath) of Ram Lalla and offer a specially crafted Pitaambari robe woven with gold and silver threads from Delhi.

The festivities, starting on January 11th, will include pujas, bhajans, kirtan and other religious programs, expected to attract approximately 110 VIPs. A large tent has also been erected at the Angad Tila site to accommodate up to 5,000 devotees. The main events include the Abhishek of Ram Lalla at 10 AM, followed by the Maha Aarti at 12:20 PM. The celebrations will continue through January 13th.

Last year’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took place on January 22nd. This year’s event is anticipated to be equally grand, marking a significant religious occasion for devotees.
