**Madurai, Tamil Nadu – January 10, 2025** – The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced the deployment of additional buses to accommodate the expected surge in passengers traveling to their hometowns for the Pongal festival. Over 455 extra bus trips will run from January 10th to 13th, connecting major cities like Madurai, Dindigul, and Theni to destinations including Chennai, Coimbatore, and Tirunelveli. A further 725 additional trips have been scheduled for the return journey between January 14th and 19th.
