**Bhubaneswar, Odisha –** NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has been awarded the prestigious Mining Innovation Award for its commitment to sustainable mining practices. The award, presented at the third international conference on safe and sustainable mining technologies in Bhubaneswar on January 8th, recognizes NLCIL’s pioneering work in developing solar and pumped storage projects on reclaimed mined-out lands, along with its successful afforestation and groundwater management initiatives. T.N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, presented the award.
