**Bengaluru, January 10, 2025** – The Indian Army will host a “Know Your Army” Mela on Saturday, January 11th, at the Manekshaw Parade Grounds in Bengaluru, to celebrate the 77th Army Day. The free event, running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will offer a variety of activities for the public, including displays of military equipment (tanks, drones, etc.), thrilling demonstrations (paramotor gliding, daredevil motorcycle show, combat bridge laying), and interactive simulators allowing visitors to experience driving army vehicles.
Families are encouraged to attend, with children’s entertainment featuring performances by Army dogs and horses. Informative stalls will provide details on medical assistance, recruitment opportunities, the Army placement cell, and veterans’ support. Food stalls will also be available. The Ministry of Defence invites residents to participate in this day of adventure and cultural activities.
