**Los Angeles, CA** – The Palisades and Eaton wildfires raging through Los Angeles County have claimed the lives of 10 people and destroyed over 10,000 homes and structures, officials confirmed Thursday. Satellite imagery released by Maxar Technologies reveals the catastrophic scale of the devastation, showing entire neighborhoods reduced to ash. The combined fires have scorched 34,000 acres, making them the most destructive in Los Angeles history.

The Eaton Fire, near Pasadena, alone has destroyed over 5,000 structures, while the Palisades Fire, near Malibu, has leveled more than 5,300. Iconic landmarks such as the Will Rogers’ Western Ranch House and Topanga Ranch Motel were lost, along with homes belonging to several celebrities including Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore, and Paris Hilton. Adding to the crisis, a new fire, the Kenneth Fire, erupted in the San Fernando Valley, rapidly spreading towards Ventura County. Mayor Karen Bass warned of further rapid spread due to high winds. At least 20 arrests have been made for looting, prompting a curfew in Santa Monica. The National Guard has been deployed to protect affected areas.
