**Hyderabad, January 9, 2025** – Kukatpally police and the Balanagar Central Crime Station (CCS) arrested a 28-year-old man, Kotti Sai Ram, on Wednesday for two theft incidents. Sai Ram, a native of Krishna district who recently moved to Hyderabad for a job, was apprehended after stealing a two-wheeler and a gold chain.
Police say Sai Ram, facing financial difficulties, committed the thefts to pay his hostel fees. The first incident involved the theft of a two-wheeler parked near Omni Hospital in Kukatpally on January 3rd. The following day, he snatched an eight-gram gold chain from a woman traveling towards Vivekanandanagar Colony.
Investigators utilized footage from over 180 CCTV cameras to track Sai Ram’s movements and gather evidence leading to his arrest. The recovered gold chain has been seized.
