Tue Jan 07 15:50:58 UTC 2025: ## Congress Leader Predicts Jail Time for KTR, Claims Superior Governance in Telangana
**NIZAMABAD, Telangana –** Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud has challenged the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to an open debate on their respective governance records, asserting Congress’s achievements in one year surpass BRS’s decade-long rule by tenfold. Goud, speaking to party workers on Tuesday, predicted the BRS will cease to exist by the next general elections due to dwindling public support and internal strife between K.T. Rama Rao and Kavitha.
He specifically targeted K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), BRS working president, predicting imprisonment following the Telangana High Court’s dismissal of KTR’s petition to quash an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) case related to alleged misappropriation of funds in the Formula-E race. Goud also criticized former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his absence from the Assembly.
Goud further accused the BJP of religious provocation, contrasting this with his praise for Rahul Gandhi’s fight against communal politics, advocating for Gandhi’s ascension to Prime Ministership. He urged Congress workers to actively promote the party’s development initiatives and strive for a 90% win rate in upcoming local body elections. The meeting was attended by AICC General Secretary Deepa Dasmunsi and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao.
