**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]** – OnePlus has launched its new flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in the Indian market. The launch coincides with a price reduction for its predecessor, the OnePlus 12, positioning both devices in the premium segment. The OnePlus 13 boasts several upgrades over its sibling.

While both phones share a similar design aesthetic, the OnePlus 13 features a slimmer profile (8.5mm vs. 9.2mm for the OnePlus 12) and is 10 grams lighter at 210 grams, despite a larger battery. Both sport a 6.82-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. However, the OnePlus 13 upgrades the screen protection to Crystal Shield super-ceramic glass (from Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the OnePlus 12) and improves water resistance from IP65 to IP68.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 houses a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset clocked at 4.32GHz with an Adreno 830 GPU, compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Adreno 750 in the OnePlus 12. Software-wise, the OnePlus 13 runs OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, while the OnePlus 12 runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14.

Camera improvements are notable. The OnePlus 13 features a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide lens, surpassing the OnePlus 12’s 50MP main, 64MP telephoto, and 48MP ultrawide setup. Both phones retain a 32MP selfie camera and Hasselblad partnership for camera tuning.

Battery capacity has also been increased, from 5400mAh in the OnePlus 12 to 6000mAh in the OnePlus 13. Both support 100W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging, along with 10W reverse wired charging. The OnePlus 13 adds 5W reverse wireless charging.

The OnePlus 12 is now available on Flipkart starting at ₹52,848 after discounts. The OnePlus 13 launches at ₹69,999, dropping to ₹64,999 with bank discounts, and will be available from January 10th. Both phones offer exchange discounts.
