**New Delhi, India – January 7, 2025** – OnePlus has officially launched its highly anticipated OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R smartphones globally, with a simultaneous launch in India. The event, which began at 9:00 PM IST, was livestreamed on OnePlus India’s YouTube channel.

The OnePlus 13, already released in China, makes its global debut featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, boasting a 45% faster AI engine, 44% enhanced CPU, and 40% improved GPU. The phone offers 12GB of RAM (with a 24GB option in India), dual cryo-velocity coolers, and a massive 6000mAh battery. It also boasts impressive durability, surviving drops from 20 feet, and carries IP68 and IP69 certifications for water and dust resistance. The display features AquaTouch 2.0 technology for use with wet fingers or gloves. Software support includes four Android updates and six years of security updates, running on OxygenOS 15. Camera features include Clear Burst, Action mode, and a Snapshot mode capable of capturing two differently exposed photos simultaneously. The OnePlus 13 will also feature Gemini AI as its default assistant. Pricing starts at ₹69,999 for the 256GB model.

The OnePlus 13R, positioned as a flagship killer, offers 12/256GB and 16/512GB configurations priced at ₹42,999 and ₹49,999 respectively.

Beyond the smartphones, OnePlus also unveiled the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 in a new Sapphire Blue color.

The launch event showcased OnePlus’s journey over the past 11 years, highlighting the company’s growth and commitment to innovation. The OnePlus 12 and 12R are currently available at discounted prices, with the OnePlus 12 receiving a ₹10,001 discount and the OnePlus 12R a ₹3,409 price drop. This move appears to be a strategic clearing of inventory before the new models launch. The OnePlus 13 series is available in Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse, and Arctic Dawn color options.
