Wed Jan 08 03:10:00 UTC 2025: ## UCLA Bruins to Host Michigan Wolverines in Highly Anticipated Matchup
**LOS ANGELES, CA – January 6, 2025** – The No. 15 ranked UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team will face off against the Michigan Wolverines this Tuesday, January 7th, at 7:02 PM PT in Pauley Pavilion. The game, marking the first meeting between the two teams since UCLA’s Elite Eight victory in 2021, will be nationally televised on Peacock.
This highly anticipated matchup will see the Bruins, currently boasting an 11-3 record, looking to continue their strong start to the season. The team, led by head coach Mick Cronin in his sixth year, comes off a 66-58 loss to Nebraska but recently defeated Gonzaga in a close contest. Junior Tyler Bilodeau leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.5 points per game. UCLA’s defense has been a key strength, ranking No. 6 nationally in scoring defense (59.2 ppg) and No. 5 in turnovers forced (17.8 per game).
The Wolverines’ visit to Pauley Pavilion will be their first since December 10, 2016. The game promises to be a thrilling encounter, particularly given the tight contests UCLA has been involved in recently; five of their last six games have been decided by a single possession in the final minute.
Tickets for the game and UCLA’s remaining home games are on sale, including highly anticipated Big Ten matchups against Iowa, Wisconsin, Oregon, Michigan State, Penn State, Minnesota, Ohio State and the season finale against USC. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking in advance via the Bruin ePermit Portal or Parkmobile.
Following the Michigan game, UCLA embarks on a challenging road trip, playing four of their next six games away from Pauley Pavilion. The Bruins’ performance against Michigan will be a key indicator of their continued success in the Big Ten conference. The game will be broadcast on the UCLA Audio Network (AM 570) with Josh Lewin and Tracy Murray. Peacock’s broadcast will feature Terry Gannon and Jalen Rose.
